Hot Springs in Noboribetsu



Noboribetsu in southwestern Hokkaido is one of the best-known Hot Springs.

There are 9 different kinds of water, containing minerals, such as sulfer, salt, and iron.


This is called "the Jigoku Valley" (hell valley) and it gives an image like hell.

 Yellowy gray volcanic gas seeps from the surface of the rocks, and smell of the entire place is strong sulfur.


In fall, you can enjoy seeing landscape is turned by autumnal leaves.



The resort town consists of numerous hotels and 'Ryokan' with Hot Springs.

Above picttures are 'Roten-buro'(outdoor Hot Sptings) which is one of the most popluar types of Hot Springs. 

Water is maintained moderate temperatures in even winter.

 Another tour spot is 'Bear Park.'

About 200 brown bears are raised at Bear Farm is located at the summit of Mt. Shihorei of the east of Noburibetsu.



 'Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura' is a historical theme park highlighting the Edo Period.


They were called 'Ninja', secret agents active from the age of Wars to the Edo period. 
They had skills called “Ninjyutsu”


'Nyan Mage' is the character of Date Jidaimura. 

You can enjoy traditional games, activities, theaters, street performances, etc.

Many survenior shops or bars are standing along the road near hotels or Ryokan.


Noboribetsu Hot Spring is the best area to release daily stress and be relax!!
