Hakodate, a south area of Hokkaido

Hakodate is the third largest city in Hokkaido.

Hakodate was selected as Japan’s most attractive city in 2015.

It has a beautiful night view, fresh seafood, historical buildings and a lot of nature.

The photo is the night view from Mt. Hakodate.

You must go to there!

The ropeway is the method to up the mountain and it takes three minutes to the top.

During that time, you can view the entire city.

The Bay Area is one of the popular tour spots too.

There are historiacal buildings used as a warehouse more than one hundred years ago.

Now the buildings are used as restaurants or shops.

"Goryokaku" is the typical park in Hakodate.

The park is designed the star-shaped.

It was constructed to set a regitional office for the central government in 1864.

In spring, many people visit to watch cherry blossoms.

You could enjoy Japanes experience in Goryokaku.

"Hakodate Asaichi" is the fisherman's market of the morning.

You can eat and buy fresh seafood at many variety of the shops.

I recommend to eat very very fresh Squid.

Fresh squid is translucent.

You can experience fishing.

Hakodate is also famous as the Hot Spring area, called "Yunokawa Hot Spring."

If you come to Hakodate, should stay at Hotel or 'Ryokan' with hot spring.

Some of them is standing along ocean, so you can enjoy hot spring viewing ocean.
